Conch ShellThis Bahamas residents guide is a one-stop resource and is organized by categories and then by Bahama Islands making for a very easy to use guide. Our navigation is so simple you will want to use this web guide every time you are looking for something locally.

The Bahamian is about to launch a brand new Unsung Hero section and we're looking for our readers' participation! Here's how it works. You can nominate anyone you choose from any island and yes, you can do it anonymously. We're looking for nominations of true unsung heroes. People who really work hard to make your community a better place to live. People who ask for nothing in return. Could be a coach, a teacher, a community volunteer…anyone who has had a positive impact on your community. Just send us an email and tell us why you think the person who you've nominated deserves this honor as well as contact information for him/her. If this person is selected we'll highlight him/her in this new section. So, what are you waiting for; start sending in those names

HibiscusYou can locate a maid service, a good restaurant, attorney, beautician or Internet Service Provider as well as many other Bahamian businesses and services. You can also sell your used car, post a job opening in your business or just chat with other Bahamians. Go to the meeting place to make friends and possible romance. Your kids can use our Bahama Islands data to help with homework or just to learn our history, politics and government.
