Visitors to Grand Bahama Island have a choice of three exciting native
revues:
Goombaya Show: at the Palm Pavilion, Royal Oasis Resort. Tuesday and

the Emancipation of slavery in 1834. In Nassau, Fox hill Village is
the center for Emancipation festivities. Here, an early morning Junkanoo
festival takes place at 1am followed by afternoon of food fest and cultural

which started centuries ago when nobility & landlords boxed leftover
Christmas goodies and gave them to servants and tenants.

A spectacular street parade of music, dance and costume. The parade
takes place along West Sunrise Hwy from 5pm to midnight.
