Boxing Day. Public holiday. The day is a traditional English holiday which started centuries ago when nobility & landlords boxed leftover Christmas goodies and gave them to servants and tenants.

December 26: BOXING DAY JUNKANOO PARADE:
A spectacular street parade of music, dance and costume. Starts at 1am Bay Street, downtown Nassau. Bleacher tickets range between $10 and $25 and are available from the Kendal G.L.
