Cat Island
is yours to discover.
As one of the out-islands
in the Bahamas, it lies a little off the beaten tract and has therefore stayed
true to the traditional Bahamian
way of life.
Here you can find the rake-and-scrape musicians, the experts in bush medicine, the farmers and the fishermen, the sisal gatherers and the basket weavers.
And you can also spend your days on a pink beach or in the shade of the coconut-dive for lobsters and groupers, snorkel around in a virtual aquarium or hike old foot paths to blue holes and mysterious caves.
Fishing and snorkeling is excellent all over the island, but if you want to experience the real mystique of Cat Island, you should really visit the north end.
The most convenient place to stay on the north end is the Orange Creek Inn, located just five minutes from Arthur's Town airport.
Come and stay with us and fly home a happier person.
